2022 marks the 20th anniversary of "For Back of a Letter Word," the third album from Blunderspublik. This album is a plunderphonic passion project...literally — when I surprised my friend Devon with a remix of her song "Cup" in 2002, I had no idea that she would go on to become my spouse. This is the first time this album has been made available online.

Cover photo by Britt Hainstock, from a performance at The Music Gallery. Originally released in 2002 on CD-R with a transparent cover as sfeeCD08. The CD-R version included the video for "The Coastal Erosion" as a playable file.

01] "The Coastal Erosion" was inspired by an earlier track "The Lego Coastline", which was a remix of "A Burning Lego Los Angeles" by Unravelled Brown Cassette Tape Lying on a Freeway
02] "I Everwith" was composed using samples from an anonymous "mic in track" from Napster
03] "Love is the Memory of a Lost Joy" was composed using samples from the new age CD "Secrets of Love" by Donald Walters
[06] "The Kerslake Kid" includes samples from the song "Cup" by Devon. Laugh attack also by Devon.
